When merchants connect their Instagram and Facebook accounts to store2story for comment-to-DM automation, we access and process the following information via Meta Graph APIs:

Account Information: Facebook Page ID, Page name, Instagram Business Account ID, and Instagram username.
Authentication Tokens: OAuth Access Tokens required to authenticate API requests with Meta on the merchant's behalf. Tokens are stored encrypted in our secure database.
Comment & Interaction Data: Public comments, timestamps, commenter Instagram IDs, usernames, and media IDs associated with posts and reels on your connected Instagram Business account.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly for automated retail and creator workflows:

To process comment webhook notifications from Meta.
To identify trigger keywords (e.g., "price") and extract product pricing codes from post/reel captions.
To send automated private direct messages (DMs) with price details and product links to interested shoppers.
To post automated public replies on Instagram comment threads.
To ensure message deduplication and reliable service performance.

3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Information is only communicated with:

Meta Platforms, Inc.: We interact directly with the official Meta Graph API and Messenger API for Instagram in strict compliance with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
Cloud Infrastructure: Cloudflare edge infrastructure and Cloudflare D1 databases with enterprise-grade encryption at rest and in transit.

4. Data Retention and Security

We retain your connected account information only as long as you maintain an active connection with store2story. We enforce robust technical safeguards to protect access tokens and client data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

5. User Rights & Data Deletion
